Grease Traps or Grease Interceptors for Your Commercial Restaurant
A grease trap is used to separate grease from wastewater in commercial restaurants. The fats and oils stay in the grease interceptor while the clean water is emptied into the main pluming line. Grease traps are a necessary piece of equipment to operate any restaurant kitchen. They slow down water flow allowing the fats and oils to float to the top while solid debris sinks to the bottom using removable baffles located inside the grease trap. Our grease traps are installed under your sink and usually buried into your kitchen floor depending on the size. They require being emptied out on a monthly basis in order to work properly. They are made of thick non corrosive metal and are available in all sizes. They are also PDI certified to pass local health code.
